Makarov College of Marine Engineering of Jiangsu Ocean University is a Sino-foreign cooperative school that was established in May 2021 with the full approval of the Chinese Ministry of Education. Its license number isMOE32UAA02DNR20212175N and it is subordinate to Jiangsu Ocean University.
Run by Jiangsu Ocean University (abbreviated as “JOU”) and Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding, Ukraine (abbreviated as “NUOS”), Makarov College of Marine Engineering of Jiangsu Ocean University is located at No.59, Cangwu Road, Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province.
The College carries out full-time academic education at an undergraduate and graduate level. It has set up the undergraduate majors of “Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering”(081901H) and “Robot Engineering”(080803TH), as well as one postgraduate major of "Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering”. Undergraduate students who are qualified to obtain the graduate certificates and bachelor’s degrees of JOU are included in the unified enrollment plan of colleges and universities in China. The admission criteria for the College are the same as the general admission criteria of JOU. Having completed the courses specified in the training program and passed the examination, undergraduate students shall also be awarded with undergraduate certificates of NUOS.
Master students from China should be included in the national postgraduate enrollment plan, participate in the unified national postgraduate entrance examination, and be enrolled in accordance with the national postgraduate enrollment policy. The admission criteria for the College are the same as the general admission criteria of JOU. Postgraduate students who have completed the courses specified in the training program and passed the examination shall be awarded with a postgraduate certificate and a master degree of JOU. Master degrees are also awarded by NUOS accordingly.
